Dolls canāt be expected to keep each other alive through this whilst sustaining addiction, we gotta look beyond substance misuse for how we show up for each other.

Personal update!
As youāve probably seen, Iāve not been posting recently ( š® ) iāve been engaging with AA, unlearning my addict behaviours, working on my own biases, and encouraging myself to surround myself only with those who help me be a better person.
Since logging off, Iāve experienced a tiny taste of a life beyond my wildest dreams, thatās rooted in serenity & acceptance rather than yearning, jealousy, disgust, and repeated exposure to things that donāt spark joy.
Iām proud of the work I did documenting and creating things inspired the mentality and attitudes of trans women like me, and for now Iām enjoying living a life which isnāt chasing likes, comments, dmās, reach, exposure, and the constant background noise of hateful comments.
Iām working on finding peace with myself, learning my behaviour patterns and building an understanding of what I actually want to bring into the world, what energy I want to carry, and the impacts (intended and unintended) both I can have on the world, and that the world can have on me.
For now, thatās rooted in living authentically, living quietly, and spending time with the love of my life (human man) and my biological child (my cat) when Iām not working as a bartender / server.

If thereās anything I want everyone who comes across my page to take from what I have put out there over the last two years, itās that life is tough for a doll, but that we are not powerless in the face of this.
It feels it, but do it anyway. Live that life, build your own future, grab life by the š„s and make what you can from what we are given.
