sometimes i forget that i’m a published author and with so many new faces i wanted to share a little bit about this project. ༺ฬ𝔸๒𝕚-𝓢𝐚𝔟𝕚༻ 📠 published May 2023 the discovery of beauty within imperfection, a journey through my mind. like any 16/17 year old i was filled with a lot of angst, with feeling emotions as largely as i do i was desperate for an outlet. then came Bookleaf Publishing with a writing challenge that would lead me to become a teenage author. 21 days, 21 poems. these works aren’t perfect but that’s kinda the idea of the whole anthology. these poems are heavy and honest. i didn’t want to feel imprisoned by my mind anymore. i was sick of feeling ashamed of my pain so i turned it into art. i lay myself bare, exposed to the world and in doing so releasing myself from the chains of my past. consisting of themes such as generational trauma, humanitarianism, philosophy, imposter syndrome, and reclaiming one’s power, i wanted to make something that could potentially make someone else feel seen. yes mental health is largely accepted now but still there’s a stigma, and still people use it as a blanket excuse. this book represents accountability, that no matter how we feel we have the power to control our actions, even our ugly emotions can have a beautiful outcome. don’t use how you feel as an excuse to treat others however you please. you’re not crazy for having large emotions, you’re human and i hope if nothing else this inspires you to explore and tackle your inner world so that you can create the external world of your dreams 💭 you can find Wabi Sabi on amazon, or in the link in my bio 🌱 shots by @adammillarguitarist 📸

From on the stage, to behind the stage, here’s an exclusive insight to who I am as a creative professional. This project was made as one of my assignments last trimester at @jmcacademy I know many of you know me as just a DJ but I wear many more hats than that. Over the last few years I have been completing my Bachelor in Entertainment Business Management which has allowed me to get involved with some amazing people and projects.
