We were delighted to welcome Sebastian Vettel, four-time Formula 1 World Champion, as our guest during his visit to receive this year’s The Perfect World Award🏆
🏙️After spending the day in the city and preparing at the hotel for the evening’s celebrations, we had the opportunity to speak with him on the red carpet.
🌱“Using my platform to inspire conversations around sustainability has been a journey,” he shared. “When you think about it, the environment is an issue that needs speed.” Sebastian Vettel has long been driven by speed - but today, he’s using that same drive to accelerate environmental change.
🌎Congratulations on your award, Sebastian — it was a pleasure to host you during your time in Gothenburg and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
💙Taking care of the environment is a race that affects us all. As he himself puts it: “There’s still a race to win.”

”It was inspiring for me to visit Göteborgs school Högre Samskola and see how the pupils connect with nature while learning about biodiversity in such a hands-on way. Thank you to everyone at the school for the warm welcome, for taking the time to show me around and explaining the important work you’re doing.“

If it’s going to be, it’s up to me 🐝🌱
Sometimes the smallest hands create the biggest impact. 💛
Together with four-time Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel, we had the joy of visiting Samskolan in Gothenburg,a school that truly lives and breathes environmental responsibility.
Through creativity, curiosity, and a lot of heart, the students crafted their own little bees while learning about the importance of biodiversity. 🐝🌼 It was more than just a visit...it was a beautiful exchange of inspiration. We may have come to inspire, but we left feeling just as inspired.
At a time when our planet needs care more than ever, moments like these remind us that change starts with each one of us, no matter how small we are.
The Perfect World Foundation Award 2026 is presented to the four-time Formula 1 World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, for using his global voice to highlight urgent environmental and biodiversity challenges, with over one million species under threat of extinction.
Through his leadership and advocacy, he inspires action and shows future generations that there is still a race to win.🐝
