Community engagement continued all week long across the downtown core. đđ
As part of Police Week initiatives, Yonge Street Neighbourhood Community Officers from 51 and 52 Division connected with residents, visitors, and local businesses at events in Sankofa Square throughout the week.
Working alongside the TTC Community Engagement Unit Special Constables and the Yonge Street BIA Community Outreach Team, officers shared public safety information, answered questions, and handed out official TPS swag while building positive relationships and meaningful community connections.
Officers @tps51div@7606tps also took part in a Coffee with a Cop event at 40 Dundas St W, creating another opportunity for open conversation with members of the public in a relaxed and welcoming setting. â
Thank you to Downtown Yonge BIA and Sankofa Square for their continued partnership and support throughout the week.

Toronto Police Service officers from 51 Division @tps51div were proud to connect with the community during this yearâs TPS Prayer Walk. Officers joined local faith leaders and community members at a faith leaderâs residence, where all were welcome to attend regardless of background or belief.
Together, we shared a meaningful time of reflection and prayer before walking side by side through the neighborhood in a spirit of unity, respect, and mutual support. The TPS Prayer Walk continues to be a powerful reminder of the importance of building strong relationships and fostering understanding across our diverse communities @7606tps
