Holy Belated Anthology post!!
So, a couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of premiering After the Light at the 2nd ever Anthology short film festival. To say I was more than a little nervous would be understating it, but the warmth and support of the audience and of our incredible hosts Sam and Sammee made the whole experience an absolute delight.
Thank you to everyone who turned up, clapped, cried, cheered; to the awe inspiring directors and their beautiful, hilarious, haunting films; to all people who I chatted to after the film and who had to listen to me throughout the Q&A.
And last but not least, thank you to everyone who supported this film from inception to shooting to now and beyond, to the best cast and crew that anyone could wish for and who I hope are as proud of the film as I am. It wouldn't have been possible without any of you.
With any luck I'll probably do a more dedicated ATL post as we move closer to festival season, but for now I look back on this Anthology with the same feeling that I did after the first one: inspired, and happy that I get to live in a city with such wonderful people.
