From navigating uncertainty to discovering his purpose in cybersecurity, Justin’s @xsoulwisherx journey at TP has been shaped by resilience, determination, and a drive to make a meaningful impact.
A graduate of Temasek Polytechnic’s Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics under the School of Informatics & IT @tpiit , Justin once made the courageous decision to step away from a course that did not align with his aspirations, persevering instead to find a path that truly resonated with him.
After completing his National Service and reapplying twice for a new course, Justin found his calling in cybersecurity, where his passion for investigative work 🔍 and solving complex problems continues to thrive. His experiences overcoming personal setbacks, including academic challenges and the loss of his grandmother, have shaped his determination and resilience, while National Service instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and purpose.
Justin has distinguished himself both academically and as a student leader, earning the Temasek Polytechnic Scholarship and multiple placements on the Director’s List. As President of the Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics Student Interest Group, he founded SparkCTF, a cybersecurity challenge that inspired over 160 participants to deepen their interest in the field. He also spearheaded outreach initiatives such as the Youth Cyber Exploration Programme to spark curiosity in cybersecurity among secondary school students.
Beyond academics, Justin remained committed to supporting the TP community. As Head of Welfare in Peer Supporters in Action, he championed student well-being initiatives and courageously shared his personal experiences at the Beyond The Label event to encourage others facing challenges.
Congratulations Justin on receiving the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Award. Your resilience, leadership, and dedication to protecting the digital landscape are truly inspiring. 👏.

Under the theme “Navigating the Future of Education with Technology and AI Integration for Educational Leadership”, our guests explored how TP integrates AI meaningfully across teaching and learning — from curriculum design and assessment strategies to hands‑on classroom practices across multiple schools 🤖📚
Beyond insights and demonstrations, the exchange was about mindset, leadership, and possibilities 💡🚀 The goal is for these ideas, tools, and approaches to travel back to Sarawak, inspiring innovation and transformation for educators and learners alike.
