Here’s 3 things to bring to your dress appointment that will make the whole experience 10x smoother 🤍
1️⃣ The Right People; 1-4 of your nearest and dearest, those you trust. Too many opinions can be overwhelming!
2️⃣ Undergarments; Not essential but nude underwear goes best, a nude strapless bra may also be helpful, plus a pair of heels of a similar height to the pair you plan on wearing. These small details can help envision the fit of the dress 👗
3️⃣ An Open Mind; The most important of them all! 9 times out of 10 our brides leave with something completely different to what they had in their head, trust the process✨

So you’ve got the ring, you’ve set the date and now you’re ready to start your dress shopping journey…how exciting!!👰🏽♀️
When should you start shopping?
Every bridal shop has a different time frame for dress orders, at TPBB, ours is 4-5 months.
It’s also important to remember that dresses are ordered to a standard size and will need alterations once the dress has arrived to give you the perfect fit! 🪡
To avoid any rushing, we recommend starting alterations 2 months before the wedding.
Add it all together and you really need to give yourself 8-10 months before the wedding to get your dress ordered.
If you plan on visiting more than one bridal shop (we recommend 1-3 at most!) then you’ll need to add on some extra time too!
We also recommend staggering your bridal shopping over the course of a couple of weeks to avoid getting overwhelmed. This will give yourself a chance to enjoy the process and take it all in✨
If you can give yourself 10-12 months before your wedding then we would highly recommend in doing so! You want to enjoy your dress shopping journey, not rush it🤍
If however you are on a shorter time frame, you have the option to purchase any of our bridal gowns off the peg! Or rush cut delivery at an extra cost. 💫
