MAIN COMMITTEE🔊🔊 Last but not least, we have Charis from the lights and stage department, a Y2 studying pharmaceutical science🙂‍↕️ “My #whydmpc is the joy that it brings. It’s being able to see how everyone does their own form of art and also having that same joy. It’s being able to support the other arts, putting the spotlight on them, and being able to see the smiles that come from the pride of their family and friends. It’s being around the crew that has the same love for our little behind the scenes in the dark, form of art. Even though it can look like we are more technical than artistic, there is also the creative element to each component. And they all come together to form the backbone of every show. Seeing that sparks the joy, the spark in the dark. So if you have the same passion for the arts but don’t know where to go, join us!”

MAIN COMMITTEE🔊🔊 Next up, we have Randy from the photography and lights department, a Y2 student studying Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics😮‍💨 #whydmpc I joined DMPC because I was curious about photography and wanted to pick up new skills. But after joining, I realised that what truly makes you stay isn’t just the craft, it’s the people around you in the CCA and your own passion. I don’t come from a course related to marketing or event production, this is purely driven by interest and a hobby. Along the way, I became fascinated by lighting, and that pushed me to start learning light design too. So if you have the passion or simply want to try something new, come join us! It may not always be easy to learn, but loving what you do makes all the difference

MAIN COMMITTEE🔊🔊 First up, we have Keith from the audio department, a Y1 student in the common science program😎 “#whydmpc is about being part of the team that brings every school event to life behind the scenes. In DMPC, I get to explore my passion for audio, lighting, photography and videography while learning real technical skills. DMPC is not just about equipment—it’s about teamwork, creativity, and responsibility. From setting the mood with lights to capturing unforgettable moments, DMPC gives me the chance to contribute meaningfully and grow with every event.”

⚡️ BREAK ⚡️ Before we step into a new academic year, this is for the people who stayed, the ones who showed up early and left late. More than 80 events later, “The show must go on” stopped being a motto. It became who we were. Not just the shows, but the in-betweens. The quiet setups. The rushed fixes. Not perfect. Not easy. But we stayed, and that made all the difference. ~DMPC AY25/26 Comm Let’s give a big hand to our amazing committee that spearheaded DMPC’s operations throughout AY25/26! Thank you for all your dedication and hard work!

TP Dance Ensemble @tpdeofficial set the stage ablaze at the 17th edition of their iconic annual concert, “GEM”, captivating audiences from both our campus and beyond! 💃 This year’s production, “ARCANA”, featured over 180 student and alumni dancers and crew across three spectacular shows. The performance took audiences on an emotional journey, tracing themes of foundation, fragmentation, and transformation ✨. Through movement and rhythm 🕺, combined with the magic of live storytelling 🪄, the dancers highlighted that growth and identity are truly shaped by the journey we take together 🤝. #temasekpoly #tpcreatingtomorrow #TPDE
