Town Biscuits is alive today because I am a mom. This time last year I was pregnant with my first, and all the while was craving Carolina food. I woke up countless mornings craving a biscuit breakfast sandwich of the like that I could go and grab from the Friendly Mart gas station up the road from my grandparents’ house where I was raised half my life. Before this year, I wasn’t a big fan of Mother’s Day. My mom got sick when I was 12 and has spent 20+ years of life suffering. Mother’s Day always reminded me of what I didn’t have. This year though, I have so much to celebrate. I love the journeys this restaurant takes me. Constantly pushing my personal and professional growth and reminding me on days like today that this life is little about me and most about those myself and my team get to serve and celebrate. I’ve learned so much in just the 6 months we’ve been here, but this one today is so special to me. Moms, caregivers, grandmas, and those that are having a hard day are all welcome to come by and get a special Town Biscuits Mother’s Day treat. We are open our normal hours today 9AM - 2PM. We are seating first come first serve. We can’t wait to feed yall!! 💛
