Happy new year! Gentle start back into the workshop with some small commissions. Working up to lights and a sideboard. That should do me for January.. While the world seems uncertain I’m hopeful that this year is going to be filled with the understanding of diversity and difference.. AND kindness!!! 💚
6 months of whittling by the fire, watching the world go by or listening to a podcast or music. These are off to @tadomadrid for my yearly delivery to them. They’ll be gone by March probably but it takes time to carve a spoon and finding time can be hard sometimes.. My new year revolution? Make more time…
Art and sustainability come together in the beautifully crafted wooden works of Stuart Williams.
From the poignant 'Standing in Place' sculptures, to the functional, organic elegance of his hand-carved spoons, and the charm and character inhabiting each of his wooden robots; every piece is thoughtfully made from salvaged timber. These artisanal works celebrate material, craftsmanship and care, and would make a truly exceptional Christmas gift.
