I held off on posting this one for a while.
This was done back in June on the beautiful @clownspit.mp3
I didn't post it because I wasn't proud of this piece. All I saw were the many glaring mistakes in my technique & execution.
But im posting it now, because looking back on this, its such a special piece. It was done when I most needed to know i was loved. Done as an act of trust & connection on a lovely friend. These pictures taken by my cherished @reds_the_color
The whole project was just beautiful.
In the months since, Ive come to love both my work & my people in a way I had never allowed myself to before. Love, Flaws & All.

the past few months have involved a convoluted exploration of my self perception. How it superimposes on my body, my perspective, my judgements of others. How it changes as my mental health does.
In Alice in wonderland the mad hatter talks about Alice having a distinct "muchness" and later says shes "lost her muchness." Its one of my favourite conceptualizations of elements of a self. Sometimes it feels like my mind is my muchness. In accepting it, I am liberated from its control & free to be curious and collaborative with it.
