Mother’s day segments make me miss my mama — it’s been six years without her. Don’t get me wrong: being a mom is my best-ever role and I loooove celebrating all of the mamas in my life. My mom would be over the moon now planning Emma’s wedding, bragging that her oldest grandson is a veterinarian, sharing videos of my niece Charlotte’s dominance in basketball, counting down with pride to my nephew Morgan’s bar mitzvah, and encouraging everyone in the grocery store line to check out GMA deals. Nobody shopped or gifted like my mom, so I hope she’s somewhere smiling at all of this. 🌸
