This past weekend……. I got to live a dream. A dream I’ve had since a child in 2008 when I first discovered professional wrestling.
One of the first things I saw was a straight edge superstar that said that his addiction is wrestling. He was different, he didn’t look like anyone else on the screen, he was cm punk.
Then in 2009 I saw my G.O.A.T for the first time. He was cold, he took control even when he was out of control, he made being a bad guy look cool. He was Randy Orton.
Since then I’ve followed a guy in this business that nobody believed in. He left WWE, forged his own path, came back undesirable and now is undeniable. He is “The American Nightmare “ Cody Rhodes.
This past weekend in Las Vegas. The stars aligned for me. I got to see a dream match that I thought would never happen.
I got to see the guy that made me think if he can do this I can do this too.
I saw my Mount Rushmore of professional wrestling perform on the Grandest Stage of them All.
Wrestlemania 42
Thank you for allowing me to be a kid again and dream with my eyes open.
Then.Now.Forever.Together
