FAMILY! It‘s with big pleasure to introduce to you: TOROKI SOUND SYSTEM We‘ve been steadily upgrading the old sound for the last 10 months and this is where we are. The sound in the current state basically is the result of a youth sound growing up, stepping into a new chapter. This whole process felt like unfreezing something that has been paused in time for years. There‘s a lot more to do, but I feel like we‘re building on a solid foundation and now we ready to travel to the future! As always: We don’t do halfhearted 🌱 We can‘t wait to get active with sound system works 🧯SEE YOU IN THE DANCE!! A big thank you to @measure_mic_mayo , who developed the 410 Peacemaker Subs and the Mid Top section, @vinz_bootsmann and Daniel @ini_dubwise for their constant big support in this process and their woodcrafting skills. What a joyful session. My longtime friend @torokidub , an internationally active dub producer, came through Munich, we linked up in the studio and by the end of it there was a new track for one of his upcoming live sets, with me adding vocals along the way.

[FOCUS] I-Tist x Toroki Tout commence en 2022, lors d'une soirée Bordeaux Dub School, où I-Tist et Toroki se rencontrent pour la première fois. Très vite, une connexion humaine puissante s’installe, laissant place à une alchimie artistique et spirituelle en constante évolution. De cette rencontre naît un premier projet, concrétisé par une sortie vinyle remarquée sur le label Wandem Records : bien plus que de simples morceaux, ce sont les prémices d’un univers commun en pleine construction puisant leur inspiration dans l’état d’esprit des pionniers du dub UK des années 90, repensé dans un style moderne, entre rythmiques hypnotiques, basses profondes et textures mélodiques innovantes. Aujourd’hui, après trois années passées à créer et affiner leur dubs en studio, ils viennent en exclusivité à la Hubert Dub School pour tester et présenter l’intégralité de leur travail en formule Live Mix pour une session "Soundcheck" très prometteuse. Yes fam, RUFF IDEA is OUT NOW! 5 brand new tunes with @exiledibrave 🔥 I tell you, this man keeps on impressing me with a seemingly endless energy of pushing things forward, always on 110% to go a step further. This project started (probably like many other projects too) with a very simple request for an exclusive tune and extended to an EP in less than a month. I sent Ex a pack of 10 riddims and I think if we wouldn’t have aimed for an EP I‘d have ended up with all 10 of them voiced 🤣 it’s been an absolute pleasure to work on this together. @maxgruenauer_ took care of the design as well as the shoot of all the videos and just like the request for an exclusive turned into a full EP, so did the shooting of some material for Reels turn into a full music video (make sure to check it!!). And, just as usual, we developed the whole project as one TOROKI crew, @sis_meliemel , Max + myself, putting an undefined idea into a concrete concept & plan! RUFF IDEA EP releases tomorrow! Let‘s go through the tunes one by one! Here‘s number 3 of 5, Jah Exile style as @exiledibrave calls it… this is one of my favourite riddims I ever produced and that vocal on it is the first one to be released 😇

Yes fam!! Our EP “Ruff Idea” is releasing this Friday on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. I’ve been talking a long time about releasing this EP and I’m happy that the moment has finally arrived! 🌱 2026 will be full of releases!
