I have been dreaming about doing an old world Hollywood dressing room shoot with @jontaylorphoto for years and as I begin to circle Saturn once again, with a new slate of possible paths and journeys, what a better time to celebrate all that has been and all that could be, than with an artist who continues to inspire me, celebrating the world and culture we hold so dear.

Happy International Dance Day!
I have to say, it was never really my intention to be a dancer. I was really content with being a singer who moved pretty well from skating and the few dance classes I took for skating. But it quickly became clear when I started auditioning professionally that the industry saw me as something else, maybe because of the body I am in, maybe because of the skating background, who knows. But it was clear I could keep fighting to be seen as a singer, or lean into what the industry expected me to be. And you know, I am really glad I listened. Because listening to that message gave me the greatest love I’ve ever known, a community like no other and the inspiration to build platforms instead of waiting for them. I think about all the opportunities and creations that have come from listening to where the universe wanted me to be, and I am filled with gratitude for trusting that voice, because I truly don’t know who, or what I’d be, if not a dancer.
I really do just love to dance… ❤️
