Everything’s been refitted, brand new battery installed, fired up and warmed through perfectly.
All she needs now is a proper clean 🧼✨
But need to get a new starter motor soon as mine is being lazy and to replace the air dam 💀
Mission complete in one day 🙏🏼
First stop at @kineticmotorsport for a gearbox rebuild. On inspection we found a few issues, but everything was sorted there and then with the right parts:
⚙️ Fully stripped, cleaned & inspected
⚙️ New 5/6 sleeve
⚙️ New 3/4 synchros
⚙️ Replacement 3/4 hub & sleeve
⚙️ New bearings & seals
Next stop @tegiwa to grab some @torcousa RTF gearbox fluid 🛢️
Then over to @smasherspaintandbody to drop the boot lid off for repaint and get the number plate recess smoothed for a stick-on plate 👌🏼
Finished the day with a casual 521 miles home 💀 .
