My debut album, Captives of Hope, is out everywhere TODAY. It feels surreal saying that, this dream years in the making. The best part of it all was getting to make this album alongside the greatest team of collaborators- classmates, colleagues, family, and friends. Hearing their magic in this music is simply the best.
To everyone who helped to make this album possible, and to the many, many communities who have touched my heart and showed me what it means to be a captive of hope…This is for you. 💜

And everywhere you need a little hope 💫
Ozi V’zimrat Yah, the first single off my upcoming album, is out everywhere today! 💫
This song embodies the soul of this album, with every single line an expression of what it means to be Captives of Hope. In a world that so often tries to break us, Psalm 118:14 reminds us that our strength and our song are unbreakable. There are always blessings still to be found.
Recorded with the most incredible band of friends:

Malin Carta - clarinet
Julian Chin - piano, organ
Ella Gladstone-Martin - vocals

For this week’s ✨Shabbat Spark✨, we draw inspiration from the words inscribed on the Statue of Liberty to remind us that no one is free until all of us are free.
Cantor Mann’s interpretation of Ashamnu, the traditional communal confessional, offers a contemporary acrostic that invites us to recognize the potential within each of us to return to our best selves.
With the news coming out of Israel and Gaza, we hold the fragile hope that our hostages may soon come home, and that all may know peace. In that spirit, we offer this song from Yom Kippur Morning, Light of a Clear Blue Morning.
Welcome back, Just For This listeners! Our season 4 premiere guest is Cantor Becky Mann (@torahtheexplorah .) Becky serves as the Assistant Cantor at Temple Israel of Westport, CT, in addition to visiting Jewish communities across the country as an Artist in Residence.
We discuss the power of mentorship, how songleading builds essential skills, and the evolution of egalitarianism in worship settings. Listen at the link in our bio and stay tuned for more Just For This moments as season 4 continues.
