Today, I close one of the most beautiful and transformative chapters of my life as I say goodbye to Etihad Airways. A place that gave me more than a job. It gave me growth, discipline, memories, friendships, resilience, and a version of myself I had never met before.
When I first started this journey, I was simply a girl with a dream. A girl who looked at airplanes with wonder, who imagined what life looked like above the clouds, and believed there had to be more to the world than the streets she knew. I had no idea that dream would one day become my reality.
Over the years, I crossed time zones, watched sunsets from 35,000 feet, landed in cities I once only read about, and met people from every corner of the world. I learned that kindness has no language barrier. I learned that patience is a superpower. I learned that grace under pressure can take you very far in life.
This career taught me that glamour is only a small part of the story. Behind the polished uniform and perfect smile are long hours, missed holidays, jet lag, sacrifice, discipline, homesickness, and moments that truly test your strength. But it also taught me that some of the hardest journeys shape the strongest people.
To my colleagues, thank you. Thank you for the laughter on exhausting days, the teamwork during challenging flights, the friendships that felt like family, and the unforgettable moments we shared across skies and continents.
To every passenger who smiled back, said thank you, shared stories, or trusted us with their journey, thank you. You reminded me daily that service is one of the purest ways to touch lives.
As I walk away from this chapter, I do so with gratitude in my heart and excitement for what lies ahead. I am not leaving empty-handed. I leave with wisdom, memories, strength, and stories that will stay with me forever.
