After receiving an overwhelming response to my latest installation, I’d like to share these wonderful photos taken by my good friend and photographer @krnschwtz.studio of my installation “Echoverse”.
The work is still on view until the end of the year in the small town of Châteaugiron, France at @centredart_les3cha
Many thanks to Vanessa for these great shots 🙏

How to condense almost a decade of installation art into a single reel? Impossible. So many works — and all the stories between them — are missing. Still, I hope this video offers a brief glimpse into my world of creation. Thanks to all the beautiful beings that supported me along the way ❤️

Since I’m returning more & more to my painting practice, I receive very positive feedback - but also the question if this is a new direction for me. In reality, it isn’t. Painting has always been an essential part of my practice.
I recently stumbled upon this drone shot by @chopemdownfilms of my mural in Port Louis back in 2016. One of my first major international trips in the name of art. Even now, memories of that place, the atmosphere, the people & the entire situation come back to my mind regularly.
What I especially remember is how naturally and charismatically this invitation came together through the @porlwi team, especially @barkintheyard , here in Berlin. Thanks as well to @chris.studioaro for making the connection back then.
I stayed in a beautiful resort and painted this large facade in less than five days — freestyle, fully inspired by the environment around me.
This journey became a spark. From that moment on, I knew that I wanted to discover the world through my art.
Thanks to everyone who has accompanied and appreciated my work over the last decade.

While I’m currently focusing on painting, @artnow_gallery created a beautiful dialogue for the recent “MASTERPIECES” group show - pairing one of my minimal soaking paper works with an expressive abstract painting.
Surprisingly different in language, yet somehow deeply connected through rhythm, surface & atmosphere.
Have a look at the exhibition in Berlin / Fasanenstraße 42

Travelling through towns, cities and countries; an encounter is made with the colours of the natural and built surroundings @topic_tomislav occupies.
The initial appearance is translated into an abstract study on paper where architectures are dissolved with oil pastels that test the intended fusing of pigments. The studies manifest themselves onto large canvases that are layered with strokes of paint that attempt to unearth feelings of security and safety.
These artworks were developed by Tomislav during a residency at our studio in Goa in January 2025.

Introducing Tomislav Topić (@topic_tomislav )
Tomislav Topić’s practice is driven by an ongoing exploration of colour as a system of structure, rhythm, and experience. His works move fluidly between precision and spontaneity, where calculated compositions meet intuitive gestures.
His process has a physicality where painting becomes an act of immersion which balances control and release. Surfaces unfold through gradients and movement, creating environments that shift with perception and invite a direct sensory engagement.
Rooted in both academic training and a history of graffiti, his practice dissolves boundaries between disciplines, bringing together formal investigation and spatial intervention into a unified language.
His works have been exhibited internationally across galleries, institutions, and public spaces, including ArtNow Gallery, Berlin; DANYSZ Gallery, Paris; Straat Museum, Amsterdam; Fondation Fiminco, Paris, and multiple global residencies. In India, he presented his first solo exhibition in titled TEMPERATURES – Interactions with Colour and Form in 2025.
Part of 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘍𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴, currently on view at Gallery XXL, New Delhi.

While I’m focusing on my painting practice, we’ve completed a new kinetic piece. Like the previous works, it follows one of the simplest mechanics we could imagine. And this is what fascinates me, something that can be found in most of my works. Simplicity is where the magic lives. It doesn’t need much, no unnecessary effects. It finds its soul in its own simplicity.

2026 – a year in which I allow myself to fully return to the body of work that fuels me the most.
At the end of 2024, I discovered a new way of working with my entire body and hands. I carried that excitement into my residency in India and continue to follow it now.
It’s not easy to find the ground I need to express this process properly — large white cardboards that allow me to apply real pressure while still holding the quality of paper.
Working with oil pastels creates a new and different relationship with color and material. Creating gradients with my hands is a physical challenge that pulls me into a tunnel, shielding me from the outside noise.
Looking forward to discovering new ways of expression.
