It was a rough year
With some tough tears
We lost so very fast
All we had thought would always last
The year made life look better in the rear view
Gold days before now all this blue
Maybe 2020 put us at ground zero with some reason
For the number 1 to bring us to a rebuilding season
There’s fire in the sky now and in our heart
At this top of the year place for a fresh start
I’ve grown and learned and so much still looks unsteady
You’d think with all this time to prepare I’d even be more ready
Here’s to more lights, more hope, more together, more fun
To better for us all and all for 2️⃣1️⃣.
