The debut EP from Dallas, Texas based alternative metal band Toothpick is finally going gold. Months of research, development, high performance tuning, and untold amounts of blood, sweat, toil, and tears have led to this. “Change Is Everything”, the first foot forward from the band features four tracks, including the underground anthem “Aluminum”. Guitars that cut like barbed wire and rhythms that slam like artillery fuse with choruses that soar like stealth bombers. Their fusion of heavy alternative metal, post-hardcore, and industrial rock place Toothpick into a niche all their own. With drums provided by Carson Wilcox of Narrow Head and Bleed, this is the next development in the future of audio weapons systems. After a year in development, hopefully it will have been worth the wait.
