Toolbox Percussion is thrilled to return as a presenter of the 18dART Community Arts Scheme in Tai Po. From June 2026 to March 2027, we are bringing the "Taipo Rhythm Pulse" back to your doorstep! This year-long journey is all about the joy of creation, turning the community into a stage and inviting everyone to experience percussion in its most diverse forms.
From learning the basics to performing in a professional ensemble setting, we want to make contemporary percussion a part of your everyday life.

The echoes of the gongs are still lingering, but our journey at @asiasocietyhk has officially come to a close. A rare sanctuary where we could all just breathe and be has been formed with each one of you who was on the journey together. 🌿✨Seeing you all immerse yourselves, whether lying down in the 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 held by 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗻 or experiencing the spatial power of the 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁, presented by 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘅 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗸 & 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, was a truly healing experience for us all.
Both the workshops and performances were filled with an incredible energy of connection. We watched as the city noise faded away, replaced by the rhythmic breath of the earth and the deep, restorative pulse of the gongs. 🐋🥁
This experience wouldn’t have been possible without the vision of our incredible artists.
Deepest thanks to 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗸 for composing such an earthy, calming piece that served as our sonic anchor. Experience 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝, an immersive concert where delicate natural textures unfold into vast oceanic depths.
Performed by leading Australian percussionists 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 and 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐜𝐚 𝐋𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐝-𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 (co-founder and former Artistic Director of Synergy Percussion), the program centers on 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐤’s 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙄𝙄 in a new version for percussion ensemble.
