Whenever we attend an art reception, I take a photo of @chzoneil12 next to my pieceđź’š
Heartfelt thank you to Athena, Tara, and the entire Bryn Du team for a magical evening celebrating art. I am honored my piece was selected out of 750 national submissions to be included in this exhibition at the beautiful and historic Bryn Du Mansion.

Two years, 50+ pieces, endless love.
I’m still processing the beauty, warmth, and support that filled the room last night. Thank you to everyone who came out to the opening reception at the MAC- your presence truly meant the world to me.
Sharing this body of work, which holds so much of my heart, was both vulnerable and deeply rewarding. To be met with such genuine connection, thoughtful conversation, and encouragement was more than I could have hoped for.
I’m filled with gratitude for the community around me, for the space to create, and for everyone who continues to show up.
Thank you all for making this moment unforgettableđź’ś

Cuba 2025🇨🇺🥰I can’t even begin to describe what an incredible experience it was to visit this beautiful country. Here are just a few sketches completed during my time in Havana. Looking forward to seeing how my art practice evolves from my time abroad. Thank you to @michaelreese8888 and @artwayprojects for this life changing opportunity❤️
Grateful to @ohiodesignercraftsmen and the Ohio Craft Museum for awarding me a Quick Grant for Artists. This support gave me the opportunity to deepen my exploration of painting and fiber through a new installation.
This color series features small cotton thread weavings combined with gouache - an ongoing exploration between material, mark, and process.
I’m also looking forward to attending OAC’s Arts Impact Ohio conference in May for continued professional development as I grow my work as both an artist and museum professional.
If you’re an ODC member, apply for this grant. If you’re not, consider joining - it’s an incredible organization filled with generous, inspiring people. The support and opportunities can truly transform your practice. I am certainly forever changed.
I am pleased to share that my work Pentaptych was accepted into the 22nd Annual Bryn Du Art Show!
Having this piece exhibited at @bryndumansion a historical venue known for its tradition of excellence and long standing support of  artists and creative community, is especially meaningful. Opportunities like this make it rewarding to share work that reflects my ongoing exploration of material, process, and personal narrative.
Grateful to the organizers and jurors for including my work, and congratulations to the other artists selected for this year’s exhibition. Looking forward to seeing the final display come together.
On view March 6-28, 2026.

✨ Closing out the year on a high note ✨
I’m honored to be exhibiting one of my fiber pieces in Artist Commune: Being and Belonging at OSU Urban Arts Space.
This work grew out of a desire to stitch together personal identity, familial traditions, and the quiet threads that tie us to community. To share it in a show centered on connection and collective presence feels especially meaningful as the year wraps up.
If you’re in the area, come experience the exhibition and support the incredible artists who are part of this communal space. Grateful for the opportunity🧵💜
On view December 9 - 20 @urbanartsspace
Can’t believe my first solo exhibition has officially wrapped! What a truly magical journey ✨
Endless gratitude to the wonderful MAC team for championing artists and bringing art to the community.
Stay tuned for what’s next💜💫

Sneak peek at some new artist headshots with the talented @anna.trankina - so excited to share these🥰
As a fiber artist, I’m used to expressing myself through texture, color, and slow, intentional work. So having that captured in a photo - not just as the face but the force behind the work was really special and empowering.
Huge thanks to Anna for capturing the energy, the color, and the soul of who I am as an artist. 🎨💫
Still buzzing from the amazing energy at the Intertwined gallery tour at the MAC🎉
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, shared stories, asked questions, and celebrated the magic of fiber✨
Intertwined celebrates the deep connections we share through fiber - between warp and weft, family and tradition, community and craft. It’s about rediscovering our roots while weaving something new, together. Grateful to be part of this shared story, and honored to connect with so many of you through this work.
Let’s keep weaving stories and creating new connections🧵✨
Intertwined on display until Nov 6 @mcconnellarts
