Thanks to everyone on their patience with the coral Deck Sock backorders. The dyeing process on the cotton failed and is having to be redone which means delivery has been shifted back to the end of the month. Apologies to all for the delay.

“Colourised error or not, Anthony Sylvester presented to me a very cool image of actor Peter Sellers wearing a pink cap. The photo taken during the filming of the Italian production, “After the Fox” in 1966, features Sellers dressed in a palette worthy of the Mediterranean sun.”

The cap is a dusty pink and typical of styles worn during this period, the chosen color doubling as a subtle reference point to Sellers’ brilliant characterisation of the indomitable but bumbling Inspector Clouseau from the Pink Panther film franchise.
