Well, it’s been a while since I updated y’all on writing.
I’ve been pretty busy this past year with new apartment, new job, new fiancé (hi @l.d.913 😘) — I’ve also been trying to be better with my relationship to social media. Some of you might’ve noticed, but aside from occasional memes and updating when I go see a movie, I’m not on here as much. I’ve tried to control my screen time a lot more so I can be more focused and utilize that time better for work and relationships.
I definitely plan on updating more videos and writing stuff, though I won’t always respond quickly as I like to get off the app after uploading something.
So for the rest of this year, my goal is catching up on projects and begin putting together a portfolio. October I’ll be finishing a new draft of Halloween Game, November will be used for NaNoWriMo, and December will be for starting a second draft of the Nutcracker. And if I have time I’m going to continue developing some other story ideas!

Writing Update:
Soooooo I’ve been a bit behind with my writing updates. In all honesty, I’ve been behind on my writing. The truth is that I’ve spent most of this year job hunting and these past few months have been the most stressful trying to find something. Pouring so much of my time and effort into this terrible job market hasn’t given me the space to write how I usually do.
I’m happy to say that my job situation is looking better at the moment. And while I’ve been behind on my writing, I haven’t stopped completely. I’ve made progress on various other ideas in development, written short scripts, polished up a beat sheet and still working on the next draft of the Halloween Game.
For this next month, I’m planning on doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month for those who haven’t heard of it). The goal is to complete 50,000 words by the end of the month. I’ll also be continuing my work on the next draft of the Halloween Game.

July Writing Update:
After compiling and sorting through notes, I’ve begun working on the new draft of the Halloween Game. I’ve made really good progress so far, but I’ve still got a long way to go before finishing it. I also cleaned up an action short I wrote and shared that for notes.
Aside from those projects, I’ve also been developing a couple ideas of what might be my next feature script. Lots of pages with various notes, story beats, and random ideas—I don’t know what it’ll be yet but I am close to figuring it out!

June Writing Update:
While waiting for notes on the Halloween Game, I’ve spent this past month working on a couple of short scripts and trying to figure out the next big project I’m going to write. The shorts need some more work, but they’re fun projects I still want to develop further. Still unsure of the big project, but I feel like I’m close to figuring it out.
I also got the exciting news of finding out that Old MacDonald County is now a Semi-Finalist for @screen_craft ’s Comedy Competition! Regardless if @openly_gabe and I make the next round, we’re super happy to have come this far!
For the month of July, I’m going to be focusing on completing the next draft of the Halloween Game!
