“Selous” -Acrylic on board around 3’x2.5’. I’m glad I have great photos of some of my artwork(thanks @michellechristiancephoto !!!), because once it’s done it either gets sold or placed in a stack; and honestly I like the stack but the work gets looked at more when it’s out of my hands😁. The main problem with the stack of art is that I am not careful enough, art is mostly valuable to me while I am making it and then after I tend to be a bit of a klutz so then I have another stack of art that I need to fix😂.

That octopus is from my early painting days. I was still experimenting and figuring out how to make things look the way I imagined. I was also playing with imagery in my signature block, and this one features a shipping boat trying to catch an octopus. 📷 of artwork by @michellechristiancephoto

This painting was an early logo draft for my sister Antra’s business, RNegade- a project she started with friends before her health declined. Though they refined the design later, this version will always mean a lot to me. It captures her courage to build something bold and her spirit that still feels so present. Every time I see it, I’m reminded of her. RIP❤️ https://www.rnegade.pro 📷 of artwork by @michellechristiancephoto

The Spinning Dancer (2 × 3 ft)
Acrylic on panel Sold In this piece, I used the language of Cubism to explore the idea of motion. Traditionally, Cubism presents multiple perspectives of an object simultaneously, yet often in a static way. The Italian Futurists took that idea further, emphasizing energy and movement. This painting might be seen as a more humanistic form of Futurism, bridging the stillness of Cubism with the vitality of motion. 📷 of the artwork by @michellechristiancephoto

“Meaner” This is about 6-8’ x 35”. I painted this one as a bit of a joke. My brother asked for a lion tattoo design, and when I showed him the first version, all he said was, ‘make it meaner.’ So I did. It is acrylic on recycled flooring cardboard. 📷 of the artwork by @michellechristiancephoto

This was a commission- the scarab pushing the dung ball is an ancient iconographic symbol for human growth, the Buddha is there to bring that idea forward and make that symbolism more explicit for our era. The Buddha is cracked showing that it is gold underneath in a third repetition of the idea. It’s in the collection of Nick Reeves. 3’x 4’ acrylic on panel. 📷 of the artwork by @michellechristiancephoto

I was using koi painting as a chance to learn how to vary several different elements to create different paintings. I used the same elements again and again but in different ways as a study. That one was where the koi+water became a complete decorative work. 📷 of the artwork by @michellechristiancephoto
