So happy to have experienced the travel, adventure and unique opportunities that I did!
Plenty of people online will overly romanticise the idea of being self employed, trading, drop shipping etc. and sure if thatās the career you want - great. But I feel many of the posts come from people obsessed with the idea of not having an employer (with old school cartoonish perceptions of a Mr Burns-esque boss). I think true job satisfaction is so important, and for me that meant adventure, variety and a sense of community. If being able to flex of social media that you are self employed from your parentsā basement, pedalling pyramid schemes and made-up lifestyle courses works for you, go for it. But I could never.
