‘Système Solaire de l’Amour’ - The Love Heart Series - Oil on Canvas - 95 x 55 cm In Système Solaire de l’Amour, the traditional iconography of the heart is deconstructed and reimagined as a celestial map of intimacy. This piece serves as the gravitational center of the Abstract Love Heart series, where interlocking “petals” of oil colour stand in for planetary bodies, each pulling and pushing against one another in a delicate, rhythmic dance. The verticality of the 95 x 55 cm canvas emphasizes a sense of ascension and shared energy. Painted in a moment of profound personal and creative synergy, the work captures the “atmosphere” of a private universe created between two people. The vibrant, overlapping hues of teal, ochre, and deep violet represent the heat and light of a connection that exists beyond the visible spectrum. To the viewer, it is a study of organic geometry; to the artist, it is a silent, permanent record of a specific moment of peak alignment - a solar system where the only laws are those of attraction and creation.

‘Shadowandlight026’ - In the presence of this painting, one feels the natural cycle of a deep connection - the movement from shadow back into the light. The Shadows: The darker edges represent those heavy, difficult patches we all navigate. It’s the ‘shadow side’ of love where things feel obscured and uncertain, and the path forward isn’t always clear. It’s a quiet, heavy space, but a necessary part of the whole. The Bloom: At the center, the colors begin to pull together. This is the transition toward peace. It reflects that rare sense of being made for one another - the “flammable” intensity of a bond that eventually settles into a calm, effortless joy. It’s the moment the noise stops and you simply find yourselves back in sync. The Narrative: This piece suggests that the dark patches aren’t the end of the story; they are just the backdrop that makes the light feel earned. It’s a study of two souls who, despite the shadows, are fated to find their way back to the stillness of the center. “Christie Bearing Devil Baby,” 2016. Acrylic on velvet, 145 x 71.5 cm. This piece is part of my ‘Impressionistic Renaissance’ series. I used velvet as my canvas to add depth and tactile quality to the image of Christie, whose form is inspired by classical Madonna figures. However, instead of carrying a divine child, she is carrying a developing “devil baby,” a primal and provocative element that I have revisited in my later work. This juxtaposition of sacred and monstrous imagery explores themes of corruption, desire, and the complex relationship between creation and destruction. The rich velvet surface enhances the visual intensity of the painting, and the deep, saturated colors contribute to the dramatic and somewhat disquieting tone.

For a long time, there it was, just a shadow. In my previous series, you saw just a silhouette - a restless, crimson secret growing beneath the surface of the womb. With “Devil Baby” (Acrylic on canvas, 48 x 59cm), the internal has finally become external. This piece is about the moment the “inner demon” is born into the light and, instead of being feared, is cradled. It’s the Madonna and Child, but for the parts of ourselves we’re told to keep hidden. What do you think is s going to happen next?

150 Hours ’Til You Oil on Canvas | 86 x 104.5 cm | January 2026 This piece is a countdown. I painted it in the heavy heat of Bali in January 2026, during my final days on the island. My bags were already packed in the corner of the studio. I knew that the moment the oil dried, I’d be boarding a flight to Paris to start the life I had been dreaming of. I spent exactly 150 hours on this canvas. It wasn’t just about the technique; it was about the transition. Every time I picked up the brush, I was counting down the minutes until my departure. You can see that energy in the impasto ridges - I wasn’t just laying down color, I was carving out the distance between where I was and where I needed to be. The paint is thick because the anticipation was heavy. I wanted to build a heart you could actually feel under your fingers, something solid enough to bridge the gap between two continents. The shapes bloom outward from a single point - that “zero hour” where everything changes. I tried to capture that weird, beautiful overlap of my two worlds: the bright, tropical pulse of Bali where I was standing, and the deep, soulful tones of the Parisian life I was reaching for. By the 150th hour, the brush went down and the journey began. This painting is the last thing I gave to my old life before I gave everything to my new one. It’s more than a heart; it’s a promise, a tally of time, and the physical sound of a clock finally stopping at a new beginning.

Visions from the Sand Acrylic on Canvas 168 x 124 cm The Story Behind the Canvas I painted this back in 2016, and looking at it now, it feels like a time capsule of everything that was swirling around in my head at the time. I wanted to create a place where the tide never actually goes out-a shoreline where the rules of logic just sort of dissolve into the salt air. To me, this isn’t just a beach; it’s a stage for the subconscious, a dreamscape where the everyday and the divine end up having a picnic together. If you look to the left, you’ll see the pianist. I imagined him sitting there at the water’s edge, trying to translate the pulse of the ocean into a melody that never ends. His music drifts across the sand, weaving through this strange, beautiful assembly of life. Right nearby, I tucked in a pair of monkeys. I love their presence here -they’re huddled in this quiet, primitive moment of introspection. To me, they’re the bridge; they connect the sophisticated world of art and music to the raw, untamed instincts of nature. Over on the right, I wanted to anchor all that surreal energy with a mother and her baby. I painted them with that soft, classical grace you’d see in a Renaissance icon, caught in a moment of pure, human stillness. There is something so sacred about that bond, and in this chaotic dreamscape, they represent a quiet sanctuary. In this world, I’ve tried to rewrite the hierarchy of things. You’ve got a lobster crawling through the foreground like a scarlet witness to the impossible, while these loyal hounds stand over everyone like ancient sentinels. And then, the sky just breaks open. These winged figures aren’t descending with some heavy message; they’re dropping in like casual guests arriving at a party. From the tropical bird perched on a shoulder to the spirits floating in the hazy light, everyone is just existing in this state of harmonious suspension. Bringing this piece into my current exhibition is my way of bridging the gap between who I was as an artist in 2016 and where I am now. It’s an invitation for you to step onto the sand with me and decide: is this a memory of a world we’ve lost, or a glimpse of a sanctuary we’ve yet to find?

‘Love in Bloom’ 86 x 104.5 cm | Oil on Canvas A Collision of Light Here, in the vast and often unpredictable landscape of human emotion, we witness a truly remarkable phenomenon. It begins not with a roar, but with a subtle, unmistakable energy - a magnetic grace that transforms the mundane into something quite cinematic. This particular spark takes hold in a rare moment of pure, weightless freedom. We see it here: where laughter and a deep, instinctive connection make the entire world feel… entirely new. This painting serves as a visual echo of that very energy. It is a creation of beauty, expelled, if you will, by the muse that resides within us all - a detailed map of the exact moment a heart opens, allowing its true nature to be seen for the first time. “Love in Bloom” is far more than a simple title; it is a transcript of that initial spark. Notice how a single heart multiplies into many, layering and expanding with extraordinary persistence until it fills the entire room. It is a reflection of a deeply personal journey, captured here in a single, vibrant pulse.
