📉 Deceleration vs ACL Risk?
Our new study in EJSS explored whether improving horizontal deceleration increases the risk of noncontact ACL injury.
✅ More braking force = better deceleration
❌ But does it overload the knee?
💡 Key finding: Faster deceleration was not linked to higher ACL risk (e.g. knee valgus, flexion moments).
👉 Performance can be improved without increasing injury risk—if technique and strength are well developed.

Was a great honour being @stecorny best man. Doing the speech was one of the best highs but a nerve wracking experience. Best of luck to you and @naomieades in your new home!
To catch or not to catch. Catch looks so much better. Getting back to old numbers in the clean. Even in a pure gym! Clean feeling good after loaded jump squats #rfd #power #strength #sandc
