Muzzle conditioning any dog is a good idea. ⠀

We don’t muzzle dogs because they are mean we muzzle them for their own safety most times. ⠀
⠀
If you have a dog that is unsure of new people but has to do to vet or needs to be handled by someone else, the muzzle is a safety net. ⠀

When I train dogs in Europe a lot of dogs are muzzled there because they take public transit and eat everything off the ground. ⠀
⠀
If you do have a dog that redirects or even wants to bite others, the muzzle is your safety net. ⠀
⠀
Just an overall great thing to practice. ⠀

Having a dog that ignores you is not only dangerous it’s a direct reflection on your overall relationship with your dog. ⠀

A lot of dog owners don’t realize that while using rewards is absolutely crucial part of training anything it’s important to not depend on the. ⠀

I like to develop dogs to not depend on anything except trust after the treats and corrections establish clarity. ⠀
⠀
It would be pretty strange to throw a party for a 7 year old kid after they went potty on the toilet by themselves wouldn’t it? ⠀
⠀
My point is, don’t put all your eggs in one basket that being rewards. Your dog will 100000%% blow you off if they are interested in something else. ⠀

Having kids changes the way you see everything you consume.
