After a prolific few years in London, I moved to California in 2006. This was my first design project. The iPhone.
At the time, I was impatient. Locked away in a secret room in Apple spending all day thinking about the iPhone photography and packaging. It drove me a bit mad working on a single project for months and months, that I couldn’t even talk about.
But then the iPhone launched, and I realized how big it was. Still, it wasn’t enough to keep me at Apple. After just 2.5 years, I left and started Manual. Call me impatient. Ambitious. Stupid. Maybe all three.
