Some more event shots and the big start of the Paris to Ancaster gravel race last weekend. It was such a great event! Thanks to P2A for the pics and @edwitvoet for the video.

Another great ride in the Paris to Ancaster gravel bike race today. A bit of a tough start as my flight in from BC was delayed and I got to bed at 3am and it was an 8am start for the Cento version of the race (110km) but it was a BEAUTIFUL day, an amazing event and worth every pedal stroke.

That might have been my last fatbike ride of the season today as I am going in for my hernia operation now. Hoping for a speedy recovery and some winter left when I am up to riding again. If the snow is gone it has been an amazing season and I will embrace my mountain and gravel bikes.
Thank you to @edwitvoet for all the amazing rides together. Sorry you wiped out this morning⦠Thanks to @panoramacycles for my amazing TorngatsTi fat bike that i just LOVE too. Also thanks to @haveacoldride and @newhopebike for the amazing events. What a great winter of riding it has been.
Global Fat Viking - Day #3 - Finished the 150 km virtual event and it was awesome! Thanks to Ed for joining me and the #globalfatviking2026 community for the inspiration. It is so great to get out and ride fat bikes during a proper winter. I love it!

#globalfatviking day#2. Ed and I logged 60km today so that puts us at 105km total towards the goal of 150km for the weekendās virtual Fat Bike ultra event. Very challenging conditions! It started out -20C and didnāt get above -10 all day. The snow conditions were the real challenge with lots of drifting snow on the local rail trails where we did most of our riding. It would be perfectly rideable one minute and then impossible the next. We had an average pace of under 10km/h which can be a little disheartening when the goal is distance. Tomorrow is another day. 45km total left to go and a huge snowstorm is in the forecast. Bring it on! #globalfatviking2026 @panoramacycles
