That’s a big Parisian mystery. There is some guy in the 17th arrondissement of Paris that daily drives some cars registered in… South Korea 🇰🇷 ! He has imported some very weird cars, at least four of them, including this Bentley Continental GT, and a Mercedes SLK 55 AMG in a very terrible condition. Would love to meet and speak with the owner, if anyone knows him 👀 Look at the state of this CGT : collapsed suspensions, massive Tesla-like screen, driver’s seat is horribly dirty, front grill is broken. Back to Paris 🇫🇷 I looooove Alpina. It’s on the « next car » list, I have to admit it’s so cool. First time I’ve seen this one, an Alpina B5 based on the BMW 545i E60. It keeps the 4.4L V8 (the insane N62 engine), but with the addition of a supercharger (not a turbo !). That’s how the Alpina « H1 » engine is born. As a result : 500hp, ultra high performances (0 to 100kph in 4.6sec, top speed of 314kph), and the exclusivity of driving an ultra rare car. Oh yes : it doesn’t have the crystal-fragile SMG gearbox, but a strong ZF one. Does all of that make good reasons to buy this over the BMW M5 V10 ? 👀 #Alpina #B5 #V8 #E60 #AlpinaB5

🇲🇰 - Pure Macedonian core with a big mashup, my last post of this amazing trip 😎 Can’t wait for Moldova 🇲🇩 Which one is your favorite ? - 1 and 2 : incredibly LOUD Lamborghini Gallardo from Albania, quite rare to see this generation in orange - 3 : Couldn’t miss that : Abarth 500 straight from Alaska, incredible 🐻‍❄️ - 4 Abandoned and left for d3ad Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4 (300hp, best version !) - 5 : Another abandoned VW Phaeton, not far from the W12 - 6 : Super rare Audi 5000 (!!!) from USA, the American version of the European Audi 200, and 5000 stands for 5-cylinder. Pretty cool ! - 7 : looks like an abandoned S500 W220 but this one is actually daily driven ! - 8 : a regular VW Golf Mk1 with one of the countless stray cats of Macedonia - 9 : high performance junkyard with a CLA 45 AMG and a Porsche Cayenne - 10 : I admit, I have a very strong crush for the very first generation and very low spec Skoda Fabia. Mandatory steelies and black bumpers for the win ! - 11 : JDM car culture also here, a good old Datsun 280Z from Poland - 12 : in a world of abandoned Opels everywhere, there’s a random Cadillac CTS. - 13 : what a Renault Espace is made for, a car made for moves and flea markets. Special mention for the Tigra, a car we all forgot - 14 : one of the countless versions of the Golf following the celebration of 10.000.000 sales. This is a « Champion », Swiss market only ! - 15 : one of the most powerful person of NMK drives an Abarth 695 Rivale in the center of Skopje. That means a lot ! - 16 : daily used Renault 4 dressed as a Tailor Made Ferrari with that two-tone paint - 17 : supermarket’s underground abandoned cars, there are a lot of them - 18 : wow, a Phaeton that is actually in a good condition ! - 19 : 2.6 engine on an Audi A6 C4 is VERY rare, some sort of 150hp asthmatic V6. Choosing a Phaeton over an S-Class, a 7-Series or even an A8, that is crazy. But picking the W12 over an S600, a 760Li or an A8 W12, that’s seriously insane. BUT ALL OF THAT, ABANDONED ?! That’s one gem over 16 ever made. Over the only 1.580 Porsche 911 2.7 RS produced, only 16 were made with this very particular « Aubergine » color, which is, let’s say, particularly insane. Alpina, the great-things creator, strikes again. In 1993, the very very fabulous straight six « M30 » engine went out of production. Which means that the Alpina B10 and B10 Biturbo stopped also. So naturally, replacement of the M30 engine was the M60, from straight-six to V8. And this is the Alpina it goes with : the B10 4.0L. Same engine displacement as the BMW engine, apart from the power, from 286hp to 316hp, and this one comes with the automatic gearbox.
