This year I’m trying to raise half the money to compete at all the top European longboard events, longboard world tour qualifying events and Irish nationals. This cost is coming well over 10,000 euros.

I will be competing in over 7 competitions this summer and this is a rough break down of what these cost are:
• competition fees and memberships
• competitors insurance and travel insurance
• travel (flights, ferries, fuel, hire cars)
• accommodation (Drive van where possible)
• coaching with Edouard Delpero ( x2🥈WSL longboard world tour/25 ISA World champion)
• personal training and recovery

Tim and I dreamt of capturing moments like this from the day we started shooting photos and surfing together. This was my birthday and the day after he passed a moment I will never forget captured by @megangayda . Also known as Peg to Tim.
My whole adult life Tim guided me. My big brother my hero my everything this guy did so much for me and all the people around him. Watched him get married build a house and a family. That was all taken from Tim cruelly at age 43. Leaving behind two beautiful cool little girls and his amazing wife Karen.
Tim didn’t need to suffer anymore. He worked in rain and windiest weather to do as much as possible for his girls before he left. Straight after treatments that me or you probably wouldn’t deal well with at all. They gave him 3 months and he fought for 2 and a half years.
In that time we discussed life after him and what needed to be done. I swore to him on my life I would do everything to teach them girls about their dad. The man that I idolised and just wanted to be like in so many ways.
To years more crystal hunting and star gazing and helping teach the girls the way of the ocean and the mountains.
To those that wished me happy birthday and sending love lately thanks 🙏 I am sorry if I didn’t reply to you all but I am struggling to process this loss. I have so many amazing memories flooding in with Tim and our adventures. I will never have someone in my life with his energy or love and passion for everything. Fired me up like nobody else he was a one of a kind. Turned every dark day into your most important defining moments.

Some heaviness in the ocean at home today.
@e09han and I went looking for waves many moons ago and this is what we found. Eoghan rode the first ever wave here what a legend. 👏 Been sneaking back here from time to time ever since.
Happy New Year! 2025 will be a year of hunting the waves that haunt me. The waves that make you fear for your life. I feel the more I hunt these types of waves the more comfortable I become in my own skin.

I love pioneering new big wave paddle spots at home. Still so many big waves out there.
No better way to clear the mind than to get out there on your own in between some mountains of water.
