Sometimes people see the final design and think itās just about decorating⦠but one thing baking has really taught me is the importance of consistency.
Consistency in your measurements.
Consistency in your baking.
Consistency in showing up even when youāre tired.
Because every cake order is someone trusting you with their money, celebration and special moment
This weekend reminded me that good cakes donāt happen by luck. A lot of it comes from understanding your recipes, learning your process and practising over time
And honestly, this is one of the reasons Iāve grown to love teaching and sharing what I know with beginner bakers too š

Sometimes I look at finished cakes and remember when I used to struggle with the smallest things⦠uneven buttercream, sharp edges, getting the consistency right
Decorating these cakes today reminded me how much growth really comes from repetition and patience. Not rushing. Not comparing. Just showing up and getting better little by little
I think people often assume bakers just wake up talented, but honestly a lot of what youāre seeing here came from learning, practising and starting before feeling fully ready.
And now, one of the things I enjoy the most is sharing what Iāve learnt along the way
Still learning. Still growing. Still grateful for every cake, every customer and every opportunity to create. You honestly get better with practice and patience.
