Our new Todi Circle 'Tangent' in Johannesburg, South Africa, wrapped up successfully last February! Inspired by Roger Ballen, it launched at his Inside Out Centre for the Arts. With 12 guests "from Cape to Cairo" (Egypt, SA, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, UAE, France, UK) from 150 Todi Fellows' suggestions—it was a perfect start for future editions! Conversations sparked ideas to strengthen intra-African ties (beyond Europe/Asia/US links). Two of the "Jodi" guests will join Todi/Umbria, that eill hit its 13th edition soon.
