In high school, I worked at Kerasotes Theater in Farmington, MO when SLEEPY HOLLOW came out. I was an instant fan. Concessions had these popcorn bags to promote the movie so I added a few to my very small collection of cool marketing materials from the movies I loved during my time at the theater. Cut to many years later I’m picketing along with my fellow WGA members and recognize the writer of SLEEPY HOLLOW, Andrew Kevin Walker, who also wrote SEVEN and THE KILLER. After meeting and saying hi to each other a few times throughout the many days on the line, I realized I had kept those popcorn bags from 1999 and thought, what the heck, maybe he’d want to sign one for me.
