The best part of this job is getting to be in the studio with my team. I’m so proud of our work together. American Form is no exception, a collection rooted in the foundations of this brand, a brand I started 15 years ago. The goal is to continue refining, striking that balance of vision and restraint and most importantly, to keep creating beautiful clothes. American Form was the foundation I used when I started the Todd Snyder brand fifteen years ago — and it remains the way I design today. From the beginning, the idea was simple: take the essential pieces of a man’s wardrobe, from the camel-hair overcoat to the white oxford shirt, the chino, the unconstructed suit, and make them better. Not louder, not trendier; but with more luxurious materials, sharper proportions, and more thoughtful construction. The goal was never reinvention, but refinement.
