1993 post-Jurassic Park watching Todd would have been thrilled if you told him one day he’d get to direct some promotional material for a film in the series (after convincing him that yes, they will still be making versions of these movies 30 years later…). Really fun and challenging promo shoot for Jurassic World Rebirth x UFC where we were tasked with matching vibes/lighting with the film. Only had a few hours to setup and shoot in working gym, so 👏🏻 all around to the crew on this one. And @dc_mma and @jacqueline.cavalcanti were awesome!
I was going to post about this season’s Amazon Thursday Night Football show open but realized I never posted anything about last year’s intro. Tons of moving parts, hundreds of extras… and Ryan Fitzpatrick with a horse! And now after shooting at this location I recognize it in like 20% of the commercials and TV shows I see. L.A. needs another art deco venue.

I know Mother’s Day is reserved for all of the amazing parents out there who make endless sacrifices when their children enter this world. @taralipinski has certainly done that for Georgie over the last 7 months. But Tara’s role as Georgie’s mom actually began years and years ago. Our daughter wouldn’t be here without Tara’s half decade of sacrifice- through all the physical and emotional trauma that people who struggle with fertility know too well (including putting up with a not-always-cooperative husband). Tara has been the most amazing mother so far, sure. But the journey she endured to become a mother is what I’m so incredibly thankful for today. And as soon as Georgie is old enough to understand, she’ll hear about how special her mom is. We love you!
