Up until this point, so much of the work has happened behind the scenes, framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, and all the systems hidden inside the walls. Once drywall goes up, the spaces suddenly feel real.
Rooms become defined, the layout starts to fully come together, and you can finally picture everyday life unfolding here.

Next up, the slab pour.
Depending on the build schedule and weather conditions, some projects pour the slab before framing and others after. On this one, we waited until the framing was up so the structure was protected and the timing worked best with the season.
It might look like just fresh concrete, but this stage is a big one. Every step in the process builds on the one before it, and sequencing matters more than most people realize.
One more major milestone complete, and we’re ready to keep moving. ✔️
