I donāt do this often, but this last week was just so moving for me so I feel I have to say something. With pride month upon us, it only feels appropriate.
After this last week i feel a very big sense of pride and gratitude towards my community. I am just so happy I was able to give back and do my part to uplift us.
One of my support groups was none other than my lovely team mates on @goteambeefcake . And to @magio_marco for taking the time out of his busy schedule to draw us up into a cute pin up boys for our new team kits. Iāve never felt more part of a team. Through out the year we worked on fundraising events that brought us together for our cause, as well as bonded us closer to be ready for this ride. This trip was a huge culmination of what we had worked so hard to carry through. I am very proud what we achieved as a team. Go team Beefcake!
Also, My biggest support group that I could not have done anything without, was my friends and family this last season. I just want to give a big shout out and thank you to each and every single person that helped me out on my ride. Wether it be financially with donations, or with advice with training, or just simple kind words of encouragement that propelled my will to pedal 545 miles down this beautiful state I call my home state.
Incase you werenāt there, I cried my way over that finish line. I was so filled with gratitude, happiness, and fulfillment after what we had just accomplished. Every person that I met that helped me get there, came rushing through to me in my head as I went down that finish line chute. I am forever grateful for the help and contribution from every single one of my friends, family, and team mates that helped the queer community succeed.
