Moto man single from 2012ish. This is one of the 2 songs that I recorded at a studio from back then. I had met @soundparticle Antreo when I mixed the track Honey at his studio. We meet through a friend from Nevada City. I had an idea to do a Robot 🤖 stop motion video after completing the Honey stop motion video. Started building a Robot but sadly it didn’t come to fruition. But the song is dope and Antreo not only recorded the song at his studio but he also added the most awesome guitar part to the track. It’s the Michael Jackson like guitar melody. So sick! Also got my good friend @telephonepickshers Dave to lay down the bass. So epic! I felt really lucky to have these guys laying down parts to bring this track to life. Also a guy named Ray played drums, one of Antreo’s friends who totally crushed it! It was a moment in time! Also the start of an awesome friendship with Antreo who I’m still collaborating with in The VS. He’s an amazing recording engineer and an epic guitar player!
The start of The VS! Demos from 2012ish recorded on Rolland BR 600 digital recorder in my basement, except for Moto Man and Honey. Couple tracks made it on our 1st record vice/versa. The BR 600 has an awesome drum machine that allowed me to workshop all these ideas. It really gave me the freedom to work on songs without needing a lot of external help or studio time. Really miss the simplicity of diy recording. Being able to release music on band camp was also really exciting! It helped me to complete the process of recording and releasing music on my own. It really helped motivate me to complete the demos. It was such a fun time in my life. Any ways it’s out there in the ether so thought I’d share it. ✌️

Hollywood single out everywhere. This is the Art work for the single. Climbed a tree to get this shot. Built this sign and searched around portland until I found the perfect spot. The sign makes an appearance in our music video. I hate doing it but dam spread the love and give it a listen and a watch. You know where to find it (BIO) up top!
