First look—
Meet Detective Dami (played by @damideremiofficial )
While my short film suffers in financial purgatory, I made something smaller (and darker).
Plot: A serial killer in Ibadan. A detective chases him. The Detective is out of his depth.
Ibadan is the second character in frame

Should our identity be tied to tribe, or is it an individual concept?
You are you because of your actions, omissions, behaviors, and you are still you because of the collective image of your tribe.
But how much can an individual identity be separated from tribal exploit? How far can your individual worth be measured?
P.S. Can you guess what happens next?
Aside: Please cheer on our brilliant talents, @tobimarho@the_ellason_awah .
What happens when loyalty to your brother clashes with the will of the crowd?
@chabodoxazo 's character had a short stint on stage, but he played a lovely cameo. His wit and personal flair shone like a shooting star, plus he showed an in-depth understanding of his role.
I loved his Ajole every bit. He gave full life to what a cousin of Marcus Getrid, differing in opinion, would look like. He showed that individuality, separate from the group, in a way that sheds light on the importance of personal voice.
But in all rooms, the majority always wins, even if your blood brother ought to be on your side.
There were mistakes I made in the final output of this play on stage.
But one of my greatest appreciations is the casting of Chabod as Ajole.
“You play the game, you face the consequences” was an ingenious, original line coined by @tobimarho . I did not write that. Thank you, @tobimarho , for that addition.

The biggest game changer for romance is spending time in the punishment box because even in bondage, men like Marcus will still find a way to woo women.
So what do you think? Will Marcus and Kandi become a thing?
Are you a Kandi or a Marcus?
Would you wish to suffer in silence or sate the pain?
Aside: the fantastic actors above were the main drivers of the Sea of Silence story. In this scene, they meet for the first time.
