At the Good Ads Matter Agency Business Heads’ Roundtable, Bhawika Chhabra @aatankitadpole , Managing Director at Toaster India @toaster.co spoke about the importance of work-life balance in today’s advertising landscape and its role in attracting the right talent. She emphasised that work can no longer be someone’s entire identity and balance matters. Gen Z, the up and coming force entering the work force clearly understands this. With advertising often carrying a reputation for long hours and burnout, the industry may risk losing valuable talent if it doesn’t adapt. According to Bhawika it is important to create space for life beyond work, so people can have more going on for themselves outside of their jobs. This week saw the final three days of tuition on our Excellence Diploma In Brands. The delegates will spend the next month writing and honing their ‘I believe…’ theses, so they are ready for judging in May and then for presenting at the ‘I believe…’ conference on 30th June, which is being generously hosted by WPP at Sea Containers (get in touch if you would like to come to that - places are free, but limited!).

By localising the global 'Say it in a Snap' campaign with hyper local moments, city specific cultural cues and everyday interpersonal exchanges, we showcased to advertisers and agencies why Snapchat is the essential platform for engaging authentically with Gen Z.
