We had the joy of collaborating with Caldecott-winning children’s book illustrator Beth Krommes (@bethkrommes ) for this season’s Artist Merch Edition. As a patron of the Toad for over three decades, we knew her work would be a perfect fit—but we couldn’t have imagined just how magical, cozy, and special her redesign of our logo would be. We’re so honored to offer this Artist Edition in our store, alongside inventory of the incredible design by Astrid Sheckles (limited supplies left). A huge thank you to Beth for her beautiful artwork, screenprinted on 100% cotton T-shirts and sweatshirts—perfect for staying cozy this fall and winter! 🍄🍁❄️

This past Saturday, this dynamic duo spoke about their new guidebook, MicroExploring the SuperSanctuary: 15 Mindful Meanders in New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region. More than a trail guide, the book offers a different way of engaging with nature—not through the hustle or the summit, but through the quieter details: the sound of wind through the trees, the dappled sunlight illuminating a plant that might have otherwise gone unnoticed, the moments that remind us to slow down and breathe. We hope you pick up a copy, explore the trails and microexplorations they’ve mapped out, and carry this philosophy with you onto every path ahead. Congratulations Phil Brown and Ignacio Oreamuno of @thedreamcatchersjourneys ! We are macro proud of you! 🍄📚

Signed paperback preorders of Midnight Curfew are now available! ⛈️International Shipping Available ⏳Special Sticker included (NOT attached to the book 😉) 🖤 Hand signed by Penelope 🔗Link in bio! — Summertime is off-season in southern Florida. Families leave their homes to escape the heat, the streets are empty, and the nights are quiet. Perfect time for a little mischief while the police aren’t looking. As the middle Jaeger brother, Dallas was often lost in the shuffle growing up. Now a man, he’s prideful of his community on the wrong side of the tracks—Sanoa Bay—and aggressively protective of his land and his inner circle. He’s hungry and ready for a fight. Callum Ames has a reputation in St. Carmen, the affluent neighborhood abutting Sanoa Bay. The hottest. The most popular. Rich. Powerful. Strong. The one all the women want. After four years away, he’s back, but for all his bravado, he’s got one major secret: he doesn’t want a woman. Summer is also storm season. Heat, wind, rain… And a lockdown.   In a desperate bid to impress his influential father, Callum suggests a curfew to hinder their rivals in the Bay. Unfortunately, the Jaegers don’t like rules. As Dallas and Callum face off and engage, out for each other’s blood, they can’t stop the consuming fire between them and the outcome they already see coming… The storm of the century. — Thank you to Toadstool Books for hosting this preorder! #midnightcurfew #penelopedouglas #fivebrothers #trystsixvenom
