Round 2 of the 2026 Toad Circle MQSALs is coming up, so we wanted to officially announce the next guest designer of the season! This is Jess Rash of @jessirash of Jess Rash Quilts!! Jess will be debuting her Raven's Nest quilt pattern with the Toad Circle community starting April 28th, 2026. We'll be sharing more about the clues and the vibe very soon, but first, we wanted to give Jess the space to introduce herself!
🖤 "Hi, I’m Jess! I was taught the basics of sewing as a kid, and fell back in love with it around 2017 after casually picking up quilting… using only a yard stick, dull scissors, and a thrifted sewing machine with some serious timing issues. My love for quilting kept growing and eventually, despite saying I’d never get into pattern writing, I found myself wanting to create quilts that didn’t exist yet.. oops! With a background as a hair stylist, color rules my mind and quilting gives me the space to play with color and design in a way that satisfies every weird little corner of my brain."

Don't forget - the piece labels will be your best friend in the MQSAL! Since there is quite a bit of time that will pass after cutting your fabrics, having each piece labeled will make it that much easier to jump in and sew each week. Katie from our Toad Circle community has all fabrics organized and labeled and ready to go for our first sewing section tomorrow!
