Now we go South towards Monastiraki Square. Here I went to To Diskadiko, a nice store that opened doors in 1995 and moved into this location in 2015. Iyosif (on the photo) started the store and his son Angelos runs it now. Angelos told me:

Nice to hear from you again!
The store opened 30 years ago at Ampelokipi, Athens and moved to its current location 9 years ago.
My father Iosif opened it and now I continue his legacy.
The name means The Record Place in greek.
We don't have a specific genre that we are focusing on, we try to have all kinds of records new and used.
However my father used to have a huge LP collection on Progressive and Psychedelic Rock, so you may find more stuff with similar sound here.
We also run a small record label from 2020 Trumpetfish Records with Jazz and Blues releases, you can't take a look here: trumpetfishrecords.com
