This project involved transforming an existing four-storey single dwelling into a two-storey Class 2 dual residence, creating two independent apartments within the same building. The site presented a number of construction challenges, including difficult site access, requiring careful planning and coordination throughout the build. Through this process, the goal was to deliver a home that feels both functional and inviting. The connection between indoors and outdoors plays a central role, allowing natural light and views to shape the atmosphere throughout the home. A calm material palette and natural timber bring warmth and balance to the interiors.
