Proud as punch to have #ProjectNSX on the @boschmotorsportau stand at @worldtimeattackchallenge today. We pulled the covers off two fairly significant projects for the car - in the front, Motorsport ABS supported with a plug-and-play(!!) kit by @909_motorsport , and in the rear what I believe to be the only drive-by-wire ITB system for a C30A, a collaborative effort between myself, @909_motorsport , @apex_composites and some special guidance from @tmc_developments . I’ll be breaking down the special details in some future content but for now, just soaking in the great vibes at WTAC after a long period in the workshop. Thanks to those who have come by to show an interest and say hi, this event has always been THE place to check out the most interesting cars in the country and 2024 has not disappointed!!

Ignorance is bliss. I was completely satisfied with the ‘upgraded’ 2000+ ABS in the NSX until I’d spent some time around people who really know the technology as part of my day job at Bosch. The reality is the tech has come a long way since then, and road car ABS is no match for a Motorsport system calibrated specifically for the vehicle into which it is installed, for maximum deceleration. If you guys are interested, I can dive pretty deep into this subject in some future project updates? In the meantime, the car is with Ash at @909_motorsport having some serious development done to bring the platform even closer to its full potential. Getting lots of exciting updates from the team, and cool to see my car amongst projects from guys like @apex_composites and @tmc_developments 😁

Some really cool stuff around the corner for #ProjectNSX. I’ve been lucky to meet some very smart cookies lately who are really helping level up the car, but more importantly level up my own knowledge and understanding. Fun times ahead!

Some much needed maintenance and got @tmc_developments to give the compressor cover, valve covers, inlet manifold and water outlet some a media blast while at it. Few minor unplanned delays with brittle/melted connectors and an emergency package from @benchmark.solutions to repair and it’s almost ready to roll again.

Our DIY Shaker kitchen for under 20K 🥂 We wanted a space that was functional, affordable with a professional finish and I think we absolutely nailed it ✌ The best way to save on renovations is doing as much of it yourself… aka DIY; as the labour charges for having someone do it for you can be the highest cost in any renovation... I’ve done a cost breakdown to assist if you're looking to carry out something similar. @kaboodlekitchen order which includes all cabinets, doors, kickboards, handles & timber benchtops - $12,478.16 ~ For longevity we opted for the thermoformed doors in the Alpine Profile. Colour | Nought Truffle | Installed by us. Sink $599.90 @abiinteriors Tap $179.90 @abiinteriors They had a promo at the time – Total cost $707.73 incl shipping @westinghouse Oven, Microwave, Fridge and Dishwasher $3,780.46 Tiles for Splashback $533.28 – Beaumont tiles + $450.00 for splashback install by others. 3 x Kmart stools - $75.00 End of Island Details - $250 approx for panelling and posts. These are the individual slats which are installed piece by piece... (Definitely invest in a nail gun) Bulkhead $242. Installed by us. Cornice material paid for during remodel. Installed by us.
