For a long time I have worked on the side as an acting coach. Confidentially working with high-caliber actors as they prepare for roles in film, TV and theatre.

I call my approach DEEP SCENE WORK. Interrogating a scene’s dramaturgical purpose, its function within a character’s evolution, and the psychological architecture that underpins it. Sessions are practical and performance-focussed — we carry out this analysis while rehearsing. It results in compelling, surprising and truthful performance choices — grounded in an understanding of the text that will outstrip even the director’s. 🙊
